OUR FOUNDER

Hotel Swarnachuda was founded by Er. Damodar Mohapatra, a visionary entrepreneur with a mission to provide world-class education and hospitality services in Odisha. Born on 25th March 1945, he was also the founder of Nilgiri Engineering Co-operative Society Ltd, Balasore, and the co-founder of Swarnachud College, Mitrapur, Balasore. He passed away on 26th December 2006. Since 2023, his death anniversary has been celebrated at Swarnachud College near his statue, in the presence of the Member of Legislative Assembly of Nilgiri, as a tribute to his remarkable contributions.

Founder
